DONG – 30/NOV/2012

**We’re very excited to announce that the show is being recorded for BBC Radio 1 for a new show called ‘Dong Comedy’ to be aired at Christmas.**

Dong – the night where hip hop and comedy collide – is banging back into action and serving up a dazzingly bling mix of phenomenally “hip” comedians, beatboxing and big tunes.

Hosted Ex-rapper DOC BROWN, whose has sold dates with his one-man show ‘Unfamous’, supported Ricky Gervais on his European Tour in Spring ’12 and launched his own comedy show ‘4 O’Clock Club’ on CBBC.

PLUS:

  • Bright young comedian, improviser and actor, MARLON DAVIS, who won the FHM ‘Search For A Stand-up’ Competition in 2010 and has appeared on BB3’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, BBC2’s The Steve K Amos Show and Channel 4’s The Five O’Clock Show.
  • Model, TV presenter and comedian, MICHELLE DE SWARTE, who hosted E4’s Dirty Digest and presented ITV2’s The Fashion Show and BBC3’s Free Speech.
  • Star of the BBC’s Sorry I’ve Got No Head and Popatron and Channel 4’s Star Stories, FERGUS CRAIG, who won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year in 2009.
  • Finalist for the 2011 Chortle Student Comedy Award ROB CARTER.
  • Battle Jam Champion, Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships finalist and is a regular judge of UK Beatbox championships HOBBIT.
  • Sony Award-winning DJ and Hip Hop legend BIG TED.

So get your Danny Brown snapback on and let Doc Brown bring you some dope jokes and superphat tunes.  And remember, YODO – You Only Dong Once.
